LightOnLand.com is the brainchild of British
freelance photographer Tim Tucker LRPS, intended to provide a portal from which to
view a sample of his work and as a reference site for clients.
Born in 1965, Tim has been actively involved in
photography for over 20 years, initially as an amateur and then as a
professional freelance. In 2004, he was admitted to the Royal Photographic
Society and awarded a distinction, Licentiateship of the Royal Photographic Society
(LRPS).
The
RPS, founded in 1853, is the
most prestigious international photographic society, and it has long been
recognised for the promotion and maintenance of high photographic standards
around the world.
Since turning professional, Tim has successfully
combined the very latest digital technologies with his solid knowledge of
photographic styles and techniques. As well as this, he draws on his wide
commercial experience to help establish a clear brief from his clients - and
deliver successfully to that brief, on time and on budget!
Before turning professional, Tim had enjoyed a very
successful career outside of photography, starting as a Computer Engineer in the
mid-80's before moving into management. He has subsequently held a number of
Senior Management posts with multi-national Information Technology and
Telecommunications companies.
